Easy Cheesy Soy Bread and Egg Sandwich

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slice of Healthyhearth Original Soybread
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 Slice Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Non-Stick Spray
  • Non-stick pan 6”

Directions:

  1. Separate eggs discard two yolks; lightly mix one whole egg with the two egg whites.
  2. Spray skillet with non-stick spray and place on medium heat. Once pan is warm, pour eggs into pan, stir lightly with rubber spatula, season with salt and pepper, and cook thoroughly.
  3. Toast Healthyhearth Original Soy Bread to desired color.
  4. Place eggs on one slice of toast.
  5. Top eggs with Cheese.
  6. Top with second slice of toast.

Notes:

Replace eggs with egg substitute.  Use Healthyhearth Multigrain Soy Bread.  For more adventure, add a slice of fat-free smoked ham or turkey bacon.
